About Bruce

Singer. Guitarist. Entertainer.

Bruce Lande is a singer and guitar player with over six decades of experience entertaining audiences in Texas, New York and North Carolina. He focuses on crowd-pleasing songs that get everybody on their feet — the kind of Americana, Ballads, Blues, Country and Rock & Roll classics three generations know by heart.

From his first solo act in San Angelo, Texas in 1970 while serving in the USAF, to the Syracuse club scene with his band Reflections Two, to leading a seven-piece host band at Tuesday Night Open Mic, Bruce has spent a lifetime connecting people through music.

During the COVID pandemic he founded Performance Ready Musicians on Facebook — an online showcase of pre-screened international artists from Spain, Scotland, Ireland, Greece and across the United States. He performed almost daily for over two years, sharpening every skill that now goes into his live shows on the North Carolina coast.

Today he performs at clubs, private parties, and community events across Eastern North Carolina from his home base in Holden Beach — with The Scoop in Holden Beach as his regular summer-season residency.

The Journey

1968

First guitar — a four-string nylon string from his mother. The beginning.

1970

First solo act — San Angelo, Texas while serving in the USAF

1980s

Formed Reflections Two — rock and roll covers in Syracuse, NY clubs, weddings, and private events. Played the inaugural ball for the Mayor of Rome, NY.

2014

Formed 7-piece host band for Tuesday Night Open Mic in Winston Salem, NC. Backed Junior Dunn, Lisa Smith, The Junction Trio, and more.

2020

Hosted Performance Ready Musicians on Facebook — international showcase featuring Joe Quinn & Tommy Keyes (Ireland), Steve Flocco, Bernie Drury & Tom Fairnie (USA), John Kampouropoulos (Greece), Markus Koehorst (Spain), and many more. Performed almost daily for over two years.

2024

Settled in Holden Beach, NC. Began regular appearances at Ocean Boulevard Coffee, Duffer’s Bar & Grill, Wilmington Wine, Rusty Nail, and other Eastern NC venues.

2025

Became the resident performer at The Scoop in Holden Beach — mornings and evenings throughout the summer season.

Now

Live performances at clubs, coffee shops, and private parties along the coast of North Carolina
